Just going to keep a brief record on here as i delve into the online world of poker ,
Good luck to me!

There was an affiliat invite freeroll last friday, which i entered.results as follows.
to say i was gutted would be an understatement,
I was 2nd in command with 15.000,chief had 21.000,,next best 8,000
blinds i believe were 150/300..
Myself and chief on the same table ,pretty much staying out of each others way, picking off some fish as we went along..
chief n myself in blinds,,,i hit a str8 on turn, bet ,,he calls ,third club on the river,,didnt think hed fish for a flush but when he reraised me all in i figured he had hit it,,was still in very good shape so decided to fold and wait till i got another chance,,,,went to fold,,,hit the call buton by mistake,,the rest is history

Anyway well done goes to handykey2008 who won the main event as well as the seven runner-ups!

Not a bad showing 11th from 61 runners Shane, but I understand your pain with the misclick and your demise.

back to the tues session, a 30 seater $5.50 nl tourny.paying 5 places..
Finished 2nd winning $37.50,,pretty decent showing, getting some good early chips and building solidly and slowly,,again lowish stacked on the final table but hit some nice cards to build the stack up..Patcience came into play big time being trapped between the 2 big stacks,,to the right a wildcard calling big raises with middle suited cons and so on,you get the picture, and hitting quite a lot,,
just had to wait,,hit p99s,the inevitable raise came in to the right,i went over the top ,he had a8,99 held up,,that was the first step up..double up to 8k then,,amazingly this guy managed to bust 11k in 2 hands,,creeped upto 11k and started using all my time allowance to see the clock out as there was 3 short stacks,,got into the money and started to put the pressure on the original bullys,,slowed the game right down and took control at this point picking up chips here n there, finally got heads up with a 2/1 chip advantage..my opponent going all in at every point,,not much i could do,,about even in chips now,,he starts to back down so i apply the pressure reducing him back to 2/1..then its the typical finish,,my AJ vs AQ,,,Q holds up..
a bit dissapointed that i couldnt win but a lot of positives and confidence to be taken from the game.On another day i prob wouldnt have met an all in maniac heads up and gone on to win but the control was taken from me,unfortunately,,
till next time that is !!!!--)
