Full Tilt Poker is endorsed by the biggest pros, so it only makes sense that they would offer the biggest sign up bonus. When you open an account via a TakesAllSports advert, they will match your first deposit up to $600.

FULL TILT REVIEW

SOFTWARE

Full Tilt Poker opened for business in 2004 and have grown from strength to strength ever since. They are considered one of the largest poker sites online and sponsor over 100 well known poker professionals who play a serious amount of poker on Full Tilt every week. You can chat and play with these professionals; get answers to your questions directly from their pros at the table or in their pro chat sessions, sit down with any of their 100+ pros, who play more than 1,600 hours every week at Full Tilt Poker.net

They have visual hand histories that let you see the last 50 hands at any given time. You can view your own stats, to see how many hands you play preflop, on the flop or all the way to the river, as well as your winning percentages for those hands to help you refine your game. There is also a "find a player" feature, and a color coded notes feature which lets you take notes on players, and see at a glance if you've marked them as a fish, or a shark.

They offer a wide variety of poker games including No Limit, Pot Limit, and Fixed Limit Hold'em as well as varieties of Omaha, Stud, and Razz. They have ring games, Sit & Go tournaments, and multi table tournaments. If you can find it in a poker room, you can probably find it on Full Tilt Poker. As you can see, there's a lot to like about this poker site, we highly recommend trying them.

TRAFFIC

At the time of writing, Full Tilt Poker is the second largest poker site on the Internet, boasting between 10 and 15 thousand players connected, on average. We found that the site was heavily one sided in terms of traffic, with the overwhelming majority of play happening on the Texas Hold'em tables; infact, over 1,200 Texas Hold'em tables were playing while we could only spot just under 200 Omaha tables, 20 Seven Card Stud games, 8 Razz tables and one HORSE table. If you prefer Texas Hold'em to the other poker variants, seriously consider Full Tilt Poker.

PROMOTIONS AND BONUSES

We found 28 different promotions listed on the Full Tilt website, so literally there are far too many to mention here. We found one or two gems that we just had to tell you about though. Full Tilt Poker is endorsed by the biggest pros, so it only makes sense that they would offer the biggest sign up bonus. When you open an account via a TakesAllSports advert, they will match your first deposit up to $600. Simply start playing at any of their real money cash games, Sit & Gos, or tournaments, and you'll start earning Full Tilt Points right away. As your points total grows, they will put cash in your account. It's that simple.

Play for your share of the more than $1 million in guaranteed prize pools each Sunday by competing in the $350k Guaranteed Sunday Brawl, $750k Guaranteed main event, or the $200k Sunday Mulligan; these 3 tournaments start at 19:00, 23:00 and 00:05 GMT respectively, they get huge fields every week, so prepare yourself for a very long poker session in order to make the very very big money. Nevertheless, this represents a good opportunity to make a huge score for a small outlay, especially as you can qualify for these tournaments cheaply via one of their many satellite tournaments.

The Full Tilt Poker Store stocks over 200 products, when you play on the Full Tilt real money tables you earn Full Tilt Points (FPPs), you can use your FPPs to buy everything from Full Tilt Poker gear to high-value electronic items like video cameras and plasma televisions, they will even send you a Mini Cooper S or a Harley Davidson.

BANKING

There are now even more ways to fund your Full Tilt Poker account, you can use Mastercard or Visa credit cards, Solo, Maestro or Switch-Maestro debit cards, UKash, Click2Pay, PaySafeCard, Moneybookers, Click&Buy, WebMoney, cash transfer or local bank transfer; so there's really no excuse to get stuck into their tasty poker action.

CUSTOMER SERVICES

Support channels may be limited to just an FAQ section and email support, but they are a mighty fine FAQ section and email service! We sent out numerous emails to various department and found that they replied as quickly as 8 minutes. We struggled to think of many questions as the FAQ section pretty much covers everything that you could possibly think of. In general, we don't consider FAQ sections to be anything special, but after reviewing the one on Full Tilt Pokers website, we might have to change our mindset.

COMPETITION

We feel that some parts of Full Tilt Poker have tougher competition than others. The Sit & Go section has superb traffic, but the competition is fierce; there are numerous multitablers who play at all stake levels and we feel they really do drive your tournament equity down, meaning that on average, you will probably earn less per tournament than you would normally do, but because you can play such a large number of tables simultaneously, you can offset the drop in equity with an increase in your volume of games played. The multi table tournaments are also a tough nut to crack, but we managed to turn a nice little profit after making a final table in one of their smaller stakes tournaments. The cash game side of Full Tilt is crazy, we believe this presents the best opportunity to find fishy players. We hit the 6 max no limit Hold'em tables and found there were a number of substandard players who we were able to take advantage of. Full Tilt, definitely not the weakest overall site, but plenty of opportunity for profit if you employ effective table selection.
